What am I supposed to do? Just sit back while the rest of the world fights?

I'm always looking for new and exciting TV shows to watch, but it's hard to come by some that really grab my attention. Shows are kind of like books to me; if they don't get me in the first few minutes, I'm not going to watch it. And on top of being hard to please, I'm also picky. I really like shows and movies set in the 40s and 50s, but those are hard to come by. When I was scrolling through Netflix, I found this show, "Bomb Girls" and luckily it has two seasons because I love it! I took screen shots from the first episode, but I've watched the second one, too. It's SO good! I'm not going to tell you too much about it because I'll probably give all the good stuff away.

It starts out about a girl named Kate who needs to get away from her father. To do that, she works in a bomb factory and lives in a home for the ladies that work there. The factory has mostly women working at it because the men are serving in WWII, although there are a few men still working at the factory. The show highlights other women besides Kate. The woman in the photo below is Gladys. She comes from a rich family but wants to do something with her life. The other main woman in the show is Lorna Corbett, the woman in charge of the ladies on the factory floor.

"Bomb Girls" shows so much emotion and realism of the time. I am very excited to continue watching this. It really makes me think about what I would do if I were in the position of these ladies. (Oh, and it makes me really want to put my hair up in a turban like they have to do in the factory. And steal their dresses.)
