LATELY
I'm not one to watch movies, but I do have Netflix which means I watch them on occasion. Today in my art history class, my professor let us watch ten minutes of The Duchess, which I was surprisingly intrigued about. The downside to wanting to watch it? It's not on Netflix. Why do they do these things to me?? So, I paid for a 48 hour rental, but it doesn't expire until February 14, so explain that to me, please? However, before I watched it, Netflix tempted me with Drinking Buddies, which I watched before watching the educational movie. (Oops.)
I was so intertwined in the movie that I wanted to watch another movie set in about the same time period. I mean, I felt like punching the Duke every time he did something terrible, but I couldn't because it's just a movie. It's a true story, but it's not like I could jump back in time and punch him. Maybe in the future when they invent a contraption that goes back in time I'll punch him. Anyway, all this led me to Vanity Fair, which I liked at first because of the costumes, but then it got a little boring. Now I'm going to watch Penelope, which Vixen-Vintage recommended on her blog. I think I've seen it before, but I'm going to watch it again.
(Fun fact about me : I hardly ever watch the same movie twice. Once I've seen it, I usually don't want to see it again... until I forget about what happens in the movie.)
So, after all that gibber jabber, here are some screen shots I took while watching The Duchess and Vanity Fair.
THE DUCHESS
VANITY FAIR
