Piggin' out.

So for the past few days I've had a cold that just will not go away. I'm sick of it (no pun intended). I was sick when I took these pictures, but I guess I was so in the mood to go exploring that I didn't really feel bad. However, the next day was ugh, terrible.

On New Year's Day Trevor, his mom  and I went to a pig picking. His mom's patient from work does it every year and invites all his friends. It's kind of like a big "thank you" to all his friends. There were about 200 people there. The food was good, the weather was chilly, and the people were interesting. There was one guy I really wanted to take a picture of because his outfit was awesome, but I didn't have the guts to go up and ask him for a picture. New Year's Resolution? Get the guts to do stuff!

So, here comes a bunch of pictures from that day!

These two pictures below are of the dessert that Trev's mom made. It's a banana split pie. I'm pretty sure that's what she called it. I was skeptical, but it was actually super good! When we looked at the pan at the end of lunch, it was all gone!

These lemon squares were the bomb! The lady just so happened to sit next to us while eating and she said it's just a cake mix. I'm a sucker for anything lemon. I'm debating having my wedding cake be lemon, but then again I love chocolate, and I don't think that a lemon and chocolate cake would be appetizing.

THIEVES MARKET
On the way home from the pig picking we decided to stop at antique place in town. We don't really have too many good places to look for antiques or vintage items. I was in search for a vintage locket for Trevor's mom, but didn't find one. Instead, I bought two more Smurf glasses to add to my collection. I think I might almost have all the glasses.

I wanted these gnomes so bad! I'm going back today to get a ceramic Christmas tree for my mom and I just might pick these guys up. Pray that no one has bought them (or the tree)!

There was a little shoe box full of old photos, and I wish I could have stayed there all day and looked at them. I came across this one, though, that was colorized and of the cutest but funniest looking woman. I just decided to give her a name while I was typing: Alberta. Hello, Alberta.

(And you get a look at my New Year's Eve nails.)

These shoes were just, ahhh! So cool.

I'm dying to buy these canisters. They go with my other mushroom stuff that I'm saving for my future home in my married life.

I can never pass up a good looking elephant.

OUTFIT OF CHOICE
Trevor always seems to go to this one shirt. We bought it for Mallard Ball for my sorority and ever since then he can't get out of it. Camo is not usually him, but lately it has become him.

Shirt : Ace Hardware ($20)
Jeans : Old Navy
Shoes : Converse

Jacket : Old Navy
Sweater : Old Navy ($10)
Jeans : Old Navy
Shoes : Sperry, purchased at Norstrom Rack
Scarf (in my hair) : yard sale
Glasses : Walmart Vision Center

Trevor took these last two photos of me and I think he didn't focus on me. I noticed that when I was editing. Oh well, he still did a good job.

New Year's Day was such a good day.
