Goodwill here sucks. Yes, you would completely agree if you shopped with me. No sale days, overpriced stuff, hardly any shoes or housewares and not really a good turnover of clothing. However, if you go once a month or once every couple of months, you might find some good stuff, like I did on Saturday! My Mom and I spent around two hours in Goodwill and when the bell rang for new clothes, we went over to the rack like crazy people!
Along with all these clothes, my Mom bought me a tripod and a camera bag for my new DSLR. My total (not including the camera stuff) was $33, which is pretty darn good for Goodwill.
1 : New York and Company; Large; $3.99
2 : Art and Soul; Large; $3.99
3 : Cute Options; Small; $3.99 // They rang this up as a shirt, but it's actually a tunic dress.
4 : Jones New York Shirt; Large; $3.99 // It's 100% lambswool! Score!!
5 : St. John's Bay; Small; $4.79 // I'm not usually into suede, but this jacket was just too cool to leave at Goodwill. I can't zip it, but it fits be perfectly everywhere else.
6 : Talbots; size 8; $4.79
7: Lemon Grass; Medium; $3.99 // I'd have to say this was my ultimate find! I've been wanting anything tapestry and I can't believe I found this jacket! It's a little big on me, but who really cares, right?
8 : New York and Company; size 8; $3.99 // I received many compliments when I wore this skirt to my sorority's chapter meeting last night. I felt like a 50's housewife, especially when I put on my yellow peacoat.
(9 & 10 are not from Goodwill; they are from Old Navy and were a GREAT deal, so I had to include them.)
9 : Old Navy; Medium; $2.97 // I didn't buy this skirt a couple months ago because I was six dollars and I wasn't in love with it. But when I saw that it was half price now, I was like, "HECK YEAHHH!"
10 : Old Navy; Medium; $20.99 // This jacket. I don't even know how to explain it. There is a story about it, though. I went into American Eagle (which I never do) and I saw pretty much the same thing for $84.99 with an extra 50% off (so it'd be like 42 bucks). I bought it because I loved it. Then my sorority sister and I went into Old Navy and I said, "Look, I'm gonna find a similar jacket for cheaper." And what happened? Exactly what I said. Anndddd I got $10 of Old Navy buck things. After I checked out at Old Navy, I went straight back to American Eagle and returned the coat. I got really bad looks from the cashier, but I think she just might always be a sourpuss. This coat story might make me look like a crazy deal lady, but the Old Navy one is actually better than the American Eagle one. I has more fluff inside for warmth and it has a fur hood! I think I'm the deal queen, do you agree?

If you're wondering why I'm so bundled up, the high today was 31 degrees. Today was the first day of the Spring semester and I have to walk outside to each of my classes, so I needed to be warm. Can you believe that I live in the South?! It was sooooo cold.
To make this chilly day better, I got a Nonfat Caramel Machiatto and then went to Barnes & Noble for a Moleskine for class. When I got in the car to go home, there was a Starbucks gift card on the ground. With my luck, I figured there would be nothing on it, but I was wrong. I got $11.64 richer (in Starbucks money)!
