The post without a clever title.

Today was about Goodwill hunting and spending some well needed "mother-daughter" time. I wanted to go to Goodwill yesterday, but I hate going by myself.

We found some awesome stuff and I can't wait to show it all to y'all. All of our clothes are currently in a laundry basket just waiting to be photographed. (I did wear a coat tonight that will be seen in pictures later in the post. I didn't wash/dry clean it. Don't judge.)

My outfit today was comfy, yet cute, in my opinion. I love my Old Navy jeans and my tie dye shirt. I'm in love with tie dye, but I don't usually have the time to make my own. So, I like to get shirts made by others. It helps me see how they do it and I get to ask lots of questions about their technique. This tie dye shirt was from a true hippie in Asheville, NC (aka: hippie central). He was a street vendor and his little booth was sooooo colorful! I couldn't get over how awesome he was, which was probably why I went up to him a bunch of times to keep asking him questions. He wouldn't tell me much about his technique, which means he is a true tie dyer. All he let me know was that the shirt I bought was made using ice and powder dye. Interesting, right?

OUTFIT OF CHOICE
Shirt : street vendor in Asheville, NC
Jacket : Calvin Klein, Thrifted
Jeans : Old Navy
Scarf : jewelry sale ($5)
Shoes : Rugged Warehouse ($5)

Aren't my doggies just the cutest? The one on the left is Antonia and the one on the right is Lucy. Lucy is older by one year. People always ask how we tell the difference because usually we don't have their collars on them. If you're wondering, too, Lucy is the smart one and is wayyy more athletic than Antonia. Antonia is the goofy one. When you've been around them for a little while, you'll start to see what I'm talking about. I love them so much! (And can you believe that I used to be scared of dogs?)

ALPHA DELTA PI PARENT'S TEA 2014

Tonight I had to get all dressed up for my sorority's Parent's Tea, which is pretty much just our parents coming to a formal dinner to see what all goes on within our chapter. It's kind of awkward and sometimes a little boring. But hey, that's life.

I was so excited to wear this outfit because I had mustard tights! Andddd they were only $5 from Walmart! The girl with my is my Little Diamond Sister. I don't know what I'd do without her. Her name is Shai and it's kind of difficult when she comes over because my parents call me Sha (pronounced Shay) and we both always look up when they say it.

OUTFIT OF CHOICE
Trench Coat : Goodwill
Dress : Kohl's
Tights : Walmart
Heels : Goodwill Clearance Center
Necklace : antique store

My necklace is gorgeous (to me it is, hopefully to you, too). I got it from an antique store for around $20, which is a little pricey for me. If you were wondering, my pin in the picture is my sorority pin that I wear to every meeting and when I get dressed up for ADPi events.
