So I said that I would probably post my iPhone photos from our trip to Charlotte. I can't believe that at this exact time last week we were in our hotel room. Me eating chocolate cake and ice cream, Trevor studying for GMAT. I decided that after a week of no blogs and looking at other bloggers' blogs that I should write. I took my Canon on this trip, but I was kinda scared to take it places because I didn't want anything to happen to it. Instead, I took pictures with my iPhone, which I always do. I have soooo many pictures on my laptop from my phone, it's crazy.
Here's a little play-by-play of our trip. (I'm kind of reminiscing with this post because I wish I was back.)
First on the list: I took a selfie while waiting for Trevor to come home so we could LEAVE!
2 : We made it to Charlotte! We had dinner at an awesome wine bar place, stopped at Harris Teeter for some not so great dessert, and started to relax in the hotel room.
3 : The next morning we woke up around 6 and got ready to bring Trev to his exam. After dropping him off, I took my cute flamingo T-shirt self to Goodwill. Luckily for me it was not even half a mile from the hotel.
4 : I just had to take a thrifting mirror picture of my outfit! The clothes in the photo are No's, by the way.
5 : This was from my second time in the dressing room. Yes, I took the shopping cart in with me. Yes, I'm wearing a hideous oversized sweater dress. I thought it might have potential, but it was more like a tent. (I really wanted those floral pants, but the problem with having curves is that not everything fits.)
6 : I passed up on these canisters. Two big ones and a small one (not pictured) with mushrooms on it. I wanted them and they were only $4, but I could hear my Dad's voice saying, "You bought more stuff?!"
7 : Next, I picked Trev up from his exam after 3.5 hours. We went to Cowfish for lunch and it was awesome!
8 : Trevor was open to doing anything I wanted to do, so of course we went to an antique mall. The name of it is Sleepy Poet and it was pretty nice and large!
I passed up this mushroom wall hanging, but it's okay. I got over it.
SWEATERS GALORE! Too bad it's in the mid 70's here now.
9 : One of the most awesome things about this antique mall is the fact that Kitsch-y-Cool Vintage is in the store! There was also another consignment shop that I bought a romper at for $4. Here's a sneak peak of the store. Brace yourself, it's amazing.
10 : After the antique mall, we drove around Charlotte to find a Caribou Coffee and then go home. I loved the streets of the suburbs more than I thought I would. There were some cute houses, such as this one!
11: Lastly, we got Caribou Coffee and headed home.
Oh my goodness, it looks like you had an awesome time! I really love the shots you took of the prints - those are always so pretty to look at!
